CapitolLettersWritingCenter is raising money by having volunteers and friends of CLWC pair up to compete in the first annual Badminton Classic on September 12, 2009.
What do I need to do?
1.Find a partner and create a team name.
2.Come to the kick-off party on August 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Asylum (2471 18th St NW) to register your team (entry fee per team = $10 donation), take team pictures, and pick up fundraising materials.
3.Participate in one or both of the open sessions/clinics to practice and trash talk (Aug 25 and Sept 8 at MeridianHillPark –bordered by 16th, Euclid, 15th, and W Streets NW in Columbia Heights).
4.Find sponsors, create uniforms, get pumped, stay hydrated, and compete in the tournament on Sept 12.
